We’ve all been there…

You crush a Stretchy Fit workout the day before..

Then wake up the next morning feeling like you got hit by a bus.

Just like a car doesn’t run optimally when you do not care for it properly, neither does your body.

It’s important to be intentional about listening to your body and what it needs.

Here’s a few of my go-to tips for recovery that I HIGHLY recommend you start incorporating into your life to feel delicious from the inside out!

1) Meditate

Relaxing your body through your mind first is the most powerful way to recover. When your mind is relaxed, your body can finally let go of all that tension, and then your body can do what it does best naturally - heal. Meditations are my secret weapon to taking my health, life, and career to levels I never thought were possible.

2) Stretch & Therapy Ball Release

Treat those sore muscles to some major TLC. One of my fav ways to show my body some extra love is using therapy balls. This has been a GAME CHANGER in my recovery. 3) Active Recovery

I know it may seem counterintuitive but moving your muscles MORE is extremely beneficial in recovery due to increased blood circulation which reduces soreness. Now I am not saying do a HIIT class, but go for a nice walk with your family or find a short restorative yoga flow inside your Stretchy Fit app.

Remember that if you want progress with your goals you need to prioritize rest and recovery for optimal results.
